That chili heat sneaks up on you after the chocolate melts, and it's the Gorria pepper doing the work, not just generic spice. The 65% Belgian milk chocolate keeps it from being too bitter, so a piece or two after dinner hits just right.
The saltlakrits is properly long-cooked and chewy, and the Belgian milk chocolate coating melts fast on the tongue. That Gorria chili creeps up slowly at the end instead of hitting you upfront, which is exactly how I like it in a 250 g bag.
I was nervous about the chili, but the Gorria pepper just warms your throat after the sweetness fades. The saltlakrits itself is properly long-cooked and chewy, not that soft stuff. A 250 g bag lasted me four days, which says everything.
