The hand glove warning is no joke—I put a tiny flake on my tongue and felt the 1.6 million Scoville hit instantly, but the fruity sweetness that followed made it worth it. Perfect for my fermenting batch, just a pinch goes a long way.
That fruity sweetness underneath the heat is no joke — it hits hard but leaves a pleasant floral note behind. Even a tiny pinch kicked my marinade up a serious notch, and the 1.6 million scoville rating definitely feels accurate. Just make sure you've got those gloves ready.
I wore gloves just to grind a pinch of this powder and it still got me in the throat from across the kitchen—the fruity sweetness does come through though, right before the burn kicks in hard. Perfect for kicking my fermented hot sauce up to a genuinely stupid level, a little goes a very long way.
