The omega-3s are a nice bonus, but honestly I bought these for the rich, spicy tomato sauce and it didn't disappoint. The sardines are firm and hold together well, perfect for smashing on a slice of crusty bread for a quick lunch.
The tomato sauce has just the right kick without drowning out the fish, and the sardines themselves are firm and meaty. I've been eating them straight from the tin for lunch, and the omega-3 claim makes it feel like a decent guilty pleasure.
They’re a bit pricier than the supermarket tins, but the handcrafted touch really shows in how firm the sardines hold together in the spicy tomato. I’ve had them on toast twice this week and the omega-3 kick makes it feel like a proper meal. Only wish the tin were bigger.
