That tomatillo and cardamom combo really sets this apart from your usual jalapeño sauce — it’s tangy but with a warm, almost floral twist that keeps me reaching for it. I’ve been drizzling it over tacos and eggs all week, and the ferment gives it a nice depth you don’t get in most store-bought salsa
The cardamom really comes through and makes this salsa verde feel way more interesting than the usual tomatillo sauce. I've been putting it on eggs and tacos all week, and the ferment adds a nice tang without too much heat. It's become my new go-to.
The cardamom really comes through underneath the heat, which makes this a fun twist on the usual tomatillo sauce. It's got a nice tang from the tomatillo and a slow-building kick from the serrano, though I wish it were a touch thicker for drizzling.
