Widowmakers BBQ - Backwood Burger RUB 260 g

The cheddar and chili combo is way more interesting than my usual salt-and-pepper routine. I rubbed it on beef patties before grilling and it made the burgers taste like something from a proper smokehouse. Will be using this on pork next.

I tried this on chicken thighs last night and the chili came through way more than the cheddar, which honestly worked better than I expected. The 260g tin is a decent size too, should last me a good few grilling sessions.

The cheddar in this rub sounds odd but it melts into the patty and gives this savory, slightly tangy crust I haven't gotten from any other spice mix. Used it on both beef and chicken burgers this week and it's become my default. The 260g tin will last me a while too.
