Opened the pouch and the smoky, almost fruity aroma hit me right away—this is exactly what I wanted for my adobo. The heat is gentle but lingers nicely, and the shorter smoke time keeps it from tasting bitter like some other chipotles I've tried. Already thinking about a second order.
The shorter smoking time really lets the natural sweetness of the pepper come through, and that smoky kick lingers just right on the tongue. I've been sprinkling it on everything from eggs to roasted veggies and it adds depth without overpowering.
The fruity sweetness balanced with the smoke is spot on—I ended up using it in a salsa and the heat crept in nicely without overpowering. Even a tiny pinch gave the whole pot that deep, roasted character I was after. Definitely ordering another pack.
