The 215g jar lasted me through a whole batch of blackened shrimp and a few catfish fillets, and the heat builds nicely without drowning out the paprika. I've been to New Orleans twice and this gets surprisingly close to what I ate down there.
The heat level is honestly perfect for me, not so spicy that you lose the other flavors but enough to notice. I've been using it on chicken thighs before grilling and the crust it makes is restaurant quality.
Used this on chicken thighs before grilling and got a proper dark crust, way better than the old jar in my cupboard. The heat sneaks up on you though, so I'd go lighter next time on the rub. Solid 215 g tin too, should last a while.
