Poured it over a slice of leftover margherita and the basil and garlic came through exactly like a fresh pizza sauce, not just heat. The olive oil and red wine vinegar give it a smooth tang that doesn’t overpower the tomatoes. It’s my new go-to for grilled cheese too.
The balance is spot on—the plum tomatoes and basil come through first, then the vinegar and garlic kick in without burning. I’ve been putting it on leftover pizza and even eggs, and that 148 ml bottle somehow lasts longer than I expected because a little goes a long way.
Bought this mainly to drizzle over pasta, and the olive oil and red wine vinegar give it a tangy kick that works better than expected. It's a bit thinner than I like for dipping, but as a pizza or pasta finisher it's solid.
