The mussels from Limfjorden have such a delicate, lightly salty flavor that I ate half the tin straight from the fridge. The 100 g size is perfect for a quick lunch on rye bread, and nothing about them tastes overly fishy.
The cold-pressed rapeseed oil really lets the sweetness of the meat come through, and each shell is plump and tender. I ate half the jar straight from the tin with a fork before I even got to the toast.
These little heart cockles are fantastic straight from the jar. The cold-pressed rapeseed oil keeps them tasting clean and mild, with just that lovely light saltiness you’d expect from Limfjorden. I’ve already finished one tin and am ordering more.
