The sardines stay surprisingly firm and moist, and that smoky chorizo heat creeps up nicely after each bite. I've had a lot of tinned fish, but this one's balanced enough to eat straight from the tin with some bread.
The chorizo gives it a proper kick without drowning out the sardines, and the oil is so good I sopped it up with bread. Opened a tin for lunch and it felt like a proper little feast, not just a quick bite.
The sardines stay surprisingly firm and juicy, and the chorizo oil soaks into them without turning mushy. I’m already thinking about which bread to pair with the leftovers.
